Members recognise the significance and prominence of this building and consider all works to it should be sympathetic to the existing house. Members consider the proposed works to be lacking in detail and feel the glazed extension at the rear should reflect some of the design from the porch. The Town Council does not object to the principle of extending this property but would welcome a redesign.
