The Town Council object to this application. The proposal is inappropriate and would disrupt the current street scene. No other garages in this location have been redeveloped. Members fully supported the public objections that have been raised in respect of the proposals being visually obtrusive, of a significant mass and being harmful to the surrounding setting.
