Shrewsbury Food Festival is taking place in the Quarry on 29th and 30th June.
It has been named the Festival of the Year at the West Midlands Tourism Awards for the foodie, family fun it provides, where the region’s best producers and chefs will serve up fine food and drink.
The chef lineup for the Talks and Demos Stage and Monks Chef School will be led by Festival Head Chef, Chris Burt and the Kids Cookery School is back by popular demand.
There will be around 200 independent stalls offering quality food, drink, home and garden items.
Top bands from the Midlands will perform on the Live Music Stage and the Family Entertainment Bandstand will showcase some of Get Your Wigle On’s stars.
There will be an entire field of free kids' activities in the Adcote School Kids Area and educational activities in the Reconomy Field to Fork area.
