We have recently been fortunate enough to secure lottery funding! A large portion of this funding secures the future for a further 3 years of our Community Kitchen project.
The project pilot has seen us provide community based cooking sessions to individuals and groups who otherwise may not have access to sessions that are tailored to their needs and abilities by a professional chef who has encouraged a range of skills to be developed.
The project extension will allow us to continue to offer cooking skills to groups and individuals throughout Shropshire.
The remaining funding will support our Redistribution Project which continues to go from strength to strength, rescuing surplus food and supporting over 65 groups and charities in Shrewsbury.
