Shrewsbury walkers are invited to put their best foot forward for a guided walk around Battlefield Heritage site.
The walk takes place on Saturday [JULY 21], from 10.30am and will be guided by local expert, Dorothy Nicolle.
The tour, which will last approximately an hour and a half, will include a visit to Battlefield Church.
The walk starts from the mound, next to the car park off the Battlefield link road, and costs £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for under 16s.
The guided tour has been organised by the Countryside Unit, which transferred to Shrewsbury Town Council from Shropshire Council on July 1.
Matthew Wilcoxon, countryside ranger, said: “The walk is open to all ages and should be lots of fun. It’s a chance to explore and learn more about one of our local heritage sites.”
