It is an event were children accompanied by a parent or guardian can book a 30 minute time slot to come and read to the cats in the Village.
It is to encourage children to read. There will also be other activities before and after the readings.
The event takes place from 1 pm to 4 pm and the Mayor can advise what time she would like to visit. Her children are also welcome but I cannot guarantee they will have the opportunity to read to the cats (if they wanted to) on this occassion.
