At the request of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Roger Pemberton I am writing to extend a cordial invitation to attend an Especial Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge.
This is a very special event for the Masonic Province of Shropshire where our 2030 Festival in aid of the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) will be launched and our target announced by the Provincial Grand Master.
All Provinces are periodically required to enter into Festival on a rotational basis and the purpose is to raise funds for the MCF which is our national charity and which donates millions of pounds to local and national charities and to support those in need. Significant grants have regularly been made to charities and individuals here in Shropshire. May I invite you to view the work of the MCF on the website: https://mcf.org.uk/
Many Shropshire Freemasons will be present in their colourful regalia and we very much hope The Mayor will be able to join us on this auspicious occasion in our calendar in order that he may learn more about our charitable work in local communities and farther afield.
