Launch of "Loopy Lines : Poems from the heart of Shrewsbury"
I left a copy at the Council Office next to the library today.
This is a collection of poems about Shrewsbury, some fanciful and some more serious, some factual and some fictitious.
It is aimed at locals who will find it warms their heart and visitors who want a souvenir of their visit to our lovely town.
£5 with all profits to Food Hub, Street Pastors and Samaritans.
The event will be a short cruise up the river on Sabrina with refreshments and recitals. Informal.
