This is the opening event of the festival which runs over the weekend. The launch will include speakers who have signed up to, or expressed interest the SAND Covenant to EMBRACE A Culture of Inclusion – including representation from: Shropshire Council Adult Social Care, Citizens Advice Shropshire, Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Integrated Care System (People Team), Wrekin Housing and AgeUK Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. We will screen 2 films – one called '70 years through LGBT+ eyes (22 mins) and another a run of shorts from previous festival in Shropshire from 2016-2021. There will be a break with canapes and wine. We expect a max 70 people to attend.
