    (i) To be proposed and seconded:

    “That the Town Council hereby expresses its sincere thanks to Councillor
    ELISABETH ROBERTS for the efficient, enthusiastic and impartial manner in
    which she discharged her duties as Mayor of Shrewsbury Town.”

    (ii) Presentation by the Mayor to the Retiring Mayor of her Past Mayor’s Badge and
    a Framed Vote of Thanks

    To be proposed and seconded

    “That Councillor DAVID VASMER be elected as Deputy Mayor of Shrewsbury Town
    Council for the period up to the Annual Meeting of Council in May 2024”

    The Deputy Mayor reads aloud and signs his Declaration of Acceptance of Office as
    Deputy Mayor of Shrewsbury.

    (v) Association of Town & City Management.

    To be proposed and seconded that the members/representatives be appointed to serve
    on the various outside bodies in accordance with the nominations by the respective
    groups.
